Without Handrail
For projects where uninterrupted views are the priority, the system can be specified without a top handrail.

Customisation Options
Glass Options
Clear Glass
Clear glass offers the most transparent finish, allowing uninterrupted views and maximum light transmission. It remains the most popular choice for balconies, terraces and coastal properties where the surrounding outlook is a key feature of the design.
We are also able to offer clear glass as a 'low-iron' option, which provides even more light transmission and clarity.
Frosted Glass
Frosted glass provides additional privacy while still allowing natural light to pass through. It is a popular choice for balconies, boundaries and overlooked areas.
Satin Glass
Featuring a smooth matt finish, satin glass softly diffuses light and creates a clean, contemporary appearance. It is particularly effective where privacy and aesthetics are equally important.
Tinted Glass
Tinted glass can add subtle colour and character to a balustrade while helping to reduce glare and solar gain. Available in a range of shades, it is often chosen for balconies, terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces where comfort and appearance are key considerations.
Finishing Options
Increased Height
Where additional privacy or screening is required, balustrades can be manufactured with increased glass heights. This option is particularly popular for terraces, balconies and areas where greater separation between spaces is desired.
Side-Mounted Posts
For projects where maximising floor space is important, posts can be side-mounted to the structure rather than fixed to the surface. This is often specified for balconies, staircases and areas with limited usable space.
Stainless Steel Finishes
Posts and handrails are manufactured from 316 marine-grade stainless steel and are available in either a satin or mirror polished finish. Both options offer excellent durability and corrosion resistance; however, mirror polished stainless steel is generally recommended for installations within 10 miles of the coast, as its smoother surface provides enhanced resistance to salt deposits and environmental exposure.
Powder Coating
For a more bespoke appearance, posts and handrails can be powder coated in a wide range of colours. This allows the balustrade to complement existing windows, fascias, cladding and architectural features.
